In a significant development, the state government has decided to discontinue Karnataka SSLC and PUC Supplementary Examinations from the academic year 2023–2024.Under the new examination policy, students will have the opportunity to appear in three annual tests – exam 1, exam 2, and exam 3.
This initiative aims to reduce exam stress and pressure on students. Unlike the previous system where students could take a supplementary exam if they failed the main one, the new system allows students to retain their highest scores from all three exams.
