NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon announce the results for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. Once published, students can access their mark sheets on the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
Ahead of the results declaration, the Board on Tuesday announced that after the announcement of results, if students are dissatisfied with their marks as indicated by the results, CBSE will offer them the chance to verify their marks, obtain photocopies of their evaluated answer books, and request re-evaluation of their answers.
“It has been observed that many students and parents approached to the CBSE after last date is over for availing these facilities on one or another pretext. It is informed that these activities are time bound and can be availed only online. No request after last date and in offline mode will be accepted by the Board as this breaches important examination safety protocol,” reads the official notification.
Parents, students, schools are therefore, being informed the schedule in advance so that, if need be, they can avail these facilities on as per the instructions issued by the CBSE.
The detailed modalities for applying for Verification of Marks, Obtaining Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Book(s), and Re-evaluation of the answers for the candidates who have appeared for the Board Examinations 2024 and the actual schedule will be issued once the result is announced.
All schools are requested to inform their students who participated in the Class X and Class XII examinations about the aforementioned information.
